In a world that constantly pushes us to do more, I’m learning to reclaim rest—not as laziness, but as resistance, healing, and self-respect.
The Silent Weight of the Heart

There are times when the heaviest burdens are not the ones we carry in our hands, but the ones we hold in our hearts. I’ve come to realize that some silent battles shape us in ways words struggle to express.
The heart carries a burden heavy enough to break it—piece by piece. You carry the weight of disappointments, pressure, and hurtful words deep within, until it drowns you in a silence so thick that even your inner voice becomes hard to hear.
You try to connect with others, but past experiences pull you down further. The pain lodged in your heart begins to chip away at your soul. You want to express yourself. To reach out. But the words don't come. The heart, worn thin by sorrow and hate, chooses silence, not because it’s weak, but because it’s taken in too much already.
And yet, the same heart that absorbs the storm holds an ocean of strength. It silently protects you, reminds you that you're not alone, and helps you rise—again and again. Through the quiet, it leads you back to your voice, so the pain doesn’t drown out the part of you still holding on.
Even in silence, your heart is speaking. Listen closely—it’s guiding you toward healing, reminding you of your quiet strength. Every soft voice deserves to be heard, especially the one within you.
